SJM Misses Members in Korea | Super Junior ‘Boys in The City 2′

On the 16th of November, the 9th CCTV-MTV Music Festival was held at Beijing’s Workers Stadium. Not only did Super Junior M perform at the festival, they also won themselves the ‘Best Mainland Group’ award.

During an interview backstage, the media immediately posed questions to Hankyung as the organisers prompted that they could ask questions regarding the group. It was said that Super Junior’s Korean member Heechul, who is also Hankyung’s good friend, wrote on his cyworld that he really missed Hankyung, and one reporter asked if there were any members who missed the other Korean members from Super Junior.

Hankyung smiled and then passed the question on to Siwon to reply. Siwon said that almost every month, the members will have schedules that require them to return to Korea, and they also contact each other via the internet. The members have very close relationships with one another, so naturally they will miss the other members in Korea.

Super Junior Boys in The City 2!

Super Junior is releasing a new photobook and calendar for E.L.F.s out there. This package also contains a DVD of the boys spreading “mischief” and “mayhem” in the city of Tokyo.

Due to a printing mistake: Calendar was spelled “carendar”. It was sent back for editing.

“Boys in the City: Season 2 Tokyo” will be available on December 12 instead.

Bad news: it’s region 3. So, Im pretty sure, that unless you’re actually in a region 3 country (S.Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong..) you can’t really watch the dvd? It comes with a calender, though ^^

G Dragon, one of Koreas Most Influential Men

Since the year has begin wrapping up, Arena Magazine counted down the top 10 most influncial men in Korea. Landing at number 8 is Big Bang Leader, G-Dragon.

Being featured alongside some of South Korea’s most prominent men, undergraduate G-Dragon’s been chosen to be representative of 2008’s “Most Influential in Music and Fashion”.

Without a doubt, G-Dragon’s leading his pack the right way in music with their MKMF acknowledgements. As for fashion, Big Bang originally started the Muffler franchaise and the current colornized theme wear for men.

Another Day, Another SNSD Delay

People waiting for Girls’ Generation / SNSD new album that was rumored to be released this month will have to wait some more. According to various sources on soshified (bug / soy), SNSD own member Sooyoung confirmed this when she said the new album is coming out in early 2009 at the DokDoSarang concert. So why would the album be delayed again?

The main speculation on the reason for the delay being that SNSD wouldn’t be eligible for any of the awards of 2009 if they released the album now. In addition, some of the groups such as Big Bang will be taking a break during that time frame

SHINee + Inyoung Christmas Pictures

DBSK Breaks Sale Record

Dong Bang Shin Ki is looking to break the 3-year record of 400,000 album sales with their comeback.

A SM Entertainment representative said, “Dong Bang Shin Ki’s 4th album ‘MIROTIC’ album sales have achieved a total of 360,000 copies by end-October. And their 4th album repackaged version released here on the 12th has also achieved 10,000 copies album sales. All these add up will add up to 400,000 copies easily.”

This is considered feat achieved since there is no one artiste who managed to achieve more than 200,000 album sales for last year. Dong Bang Shin Ki managed to sell 360,000 copies of their 3rd album in 2006. This record was not achieved by any artiste again this 2 years.

Dong Bang Shin Ki will also be the next to break the record set by SG Wannabe with their 2nd album sales of 410,000 copies in 2005.

“We are really thankful to our fans who gave us loads of love and support for our comeback after 1 year and 7 months. We will work hard and show everyone a more matured side of us on stage.
